According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, TBS has acquired veteran comedy "Cougar Town" from ABC.
After a rocky third season - trimmed order and unfortunate Tuesday time slot - the show has been picked up by the cable network for one season - for now. The actors' contracts are for two seasons. So there could be more coming.
It's unclear at this point if there will be any changes made to the overall look and feel of the show, but hopefully not.
