Hello Folks
Amidst all the pickup-renewal-cancellation frenzy that kept us busy the last few days, there was a casting scoop buried in there somewhere that I think needs to be known.
"Lost" alumna Maggie Grace has been cast in a major arc on Showtime's "Californication", per TVLine's Vlada Gelman.
Grace is cast in nine episodes as Faith, a Catholic school girl who got lost in the dark aspects of rock and roll, when she was touring as a music groupie with various artists and bands, acting as their muse, and falling deeply in love with them. Despite all that, and a friends-with-benefits relationship with Hank Moody (David Duchovny), Faith still hasn't lost her deeply religious ways.
But wait, there's more.
EW's James Hibberd reported back in April when only the character was known, but not yet who would play her, that Showtime is planning a potential spinoff surrounding Faith. It's not much more than an idea at this point, and Showtime will of course wait to see if the new character clicks with the audience.
Are you excited to see Maggie Grace on "Californication" in what seems to be quite the raunchy part? Sound off below.
