Hello Folks

Deadline's Nellie Andreeva reports that ABC is currently in talks to add another, final season to its medical drama "Private Practice".

While nothing's set in stone yet, the Alphabet is looking to give the show a shorter sixth season, with series lead Kate Walsh already having committed to stay on for those 13 episodes.

The move comes after the show has had a ratings rebound last Tuesday, with a 2.2 demo rating, 29% higher than the episode before. It was also the most-watched episode in over a year and a half, and the best demo rating in over two months.

So, here's hoping that the show might get a proper sendoff before it fades into the sunset that engulfs the opening credits every week.
