FOX has given series orders to two of its drama pilots, according to Deadline's Nellie Andreeva.
"The Following", formerly the untitled Kevin Williamson project stars Kevin Bacon as retired FBI profiler Ryan Hardy on the hunt of serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) who creates a cult of murderers using modern technology. Natalie Zea also stars. Bacon committed to 15 episodes, which makes this one a likely candidate for midseason.
"The Mob Doctor" is starring Jordana Spiro as a young female thoracic surgeon with Bridgeport roots who juggles two worlds as she juggles her career and her lifelong debt to the South Chicago mob.
