Two casting bits among all this upfront stuff going on this week.
- Deadline's Nellie Andreeva reports that Dylan Baker ("Damages") has joined the cast of USA's upcoming new drama series "POlitical Animals". He will play the recurring part of Vice President Fred Collier, who works in President Paul Garcetti's (Adrian Pasdar) administration. Collier is described as a sweet man, but a fierce adversary to Secretary of State Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver), and a man with secrets, who will come to light at some point.
- Per TVLine's Megan Masters, Matthew Lillard ("Scream", "Scooby-Doo") has booked a guest spot on the upcoming fifth season of TNT's "Leverage", which bows July 15. Lillard will play Gabe Erickson, a corrupt businessman who has evaded jail so far - but Nate and his crew will try to change that.
