Per Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, there seems to be an out for two of ABC's bubble comedies if the Alphabet decides to cancel either or both of them.
Apparently, TBS is in preliminary talks to pick up "Cougar Town" if ABC doesn't renew it, and several other networks have showed interest in freshman comedy "Don't Trust The B- In Apt. 23", should it not get a second season on ABC.
Please bear in mind that all this is in very early stages, and nowhere near official. But at least it looks like there are efforts made to bring those shows back even if the axe of ABC should fall on them.
