ABC Picks Up HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS, 666 PARK AVENUE, LAST RESORT

Various sources report more pickups by ABC, among them one that just might ease the "Scrubs" withdrawal a tiny bit.

The Alphabet has ordered "How To Live With Your Parents" to series. The project stars "Scrubs" alumna Sarah Chalke as Polly, a recently divorced single mom, moves in with her eccentric parents, Elaine and Max, a couple who’s full of life but knows no boundaries. Brad Garrett, Elizabeth Perkins, Orlando Jones, John Dore, Rachel Eggleston and Rebecca Delgado Smith co-star.

And another project has gotten the green light as well. "666 Park Avenue" is about a young couple who manages one of the most historic apartment buildings in New York City and unwittingly experience supernatural occurrences that complicate and endanger the lives of everyone in the building. Terry O’Quinn, Dave Annable, Rachael Taylor, Vanessa Williams, Mercedes Masöhn, Robert Buckley and Helena Mattsson star. Alex Graves directed the pilot.

And then the Alphabet picked up "Last Resort", which was labeled as a frontrunner in the pilot race.

It's about a renegade crew of a nuclear submarine who goes on the run after defying an order given under strange and suspicious circumstances to deploy their weapons. They seek refuge at a NATO listening post and declare themselves the world’s smallest sovereign nation with nuclear capability. They then face the challenges of creating a new society while monitoring the movements of the world’s militaries. The project stars Andre Braugher, Daisy Betts, Dan Lissing, Camille De Pazzis, Sahr Ngaujau, Autumn Reeser, Scott Speedman, and Dichen Lachman. Martin Campbell ("Goldeneye") directed.
