Another one of those prediction thingies... but I know you want to know.
According to Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, it looks like "30 Rock" will be back for a seventh season after all. But it'll very likely be a shorter, and more importantly, final season. Deals with the show's key writers have been struck, which makes an official renewal pretty much a formality only.
As for other NBC bubble comedies: "Community" currently stands a 50/50 chance of returning, with "Parks & Recreation" faring a little better than 50/50. As for "Up All Night", it looked like having a better chance than "Whitney", whose chances are considered slim. But "Night" has lost it's exec producer Jon Pollack to new Matthew Perry comedy "Go On", which might be a bad sign for "Up All Night". But not all hope is lost there.
NBC is currently looking for shortened orders on all the bubble series.
