Hello Folks
Per Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, CBS has picked up its cop drama "Blue Bloods" for a third season.
CBS is not confirming, but I trust Nellie Andreeva as a source, as she was spot on with all the early renewal reports at last year's upfronts. So yes, we can very much start to celebrate on that front. The Tom Selleck starring drama will be back next year.
But that's not all. According to the report, CBS is closing in on renewals of several other shows. "NCIS", "NCIS: Los Angeles", "2 Broke Girls", "Person of Interest", "Mike and Molly", "The Mentalist", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Criminal Minds" - and "Two and A Half Men", even though a deal for Ashton Kutcher to remain on the show has yet to be finalized.
Veteran comedies "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory" are already renewed through next season via multi-year pickups.
Stay tuned. I'll update with more news as soon as I hear more.
