After renewing its successful drama "Sons of Anarchy" for a fifth season last fall, FX has today announced that it has officially picked up a sixth season as well, per the Hollywood Reporter.
The order for a sixth season, to air in the 2013-2014 TV season, stems from the newly reached deal between the cable network and "Sons" creator and showrunner Kurt Sutter, which keeps him aboard through a seventh season, which is considered very likely now, and possibly the final season.
