Hello Folks

CBS and Warner Bros. TV have officially announced that they have shut down production on its comedy series"Two And A Half Men" for the remainder of this season. And for giving a reason, they didn't hesitate from putting the blame on its star.

"Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of "Two and a Half Men" for the remainder of the season."

This means that the four episodes that were to begin production on Monday, which were still only half of what the full season would have required, have now officially been scrapped.

Now, what "totality of statements, conduct and condition", you might ask? Well, for the answer to that, I kindly refer you to two detailed articles on the subject. The first from TVLine, and another from E!Online.

CBS Orders More MIKE & MOLLY, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT To Replace TWO AND A HALF MEN

Hello Folks

Per the Hollywood Reporter, CBS has ordered two additional episodes of its comedies "Mike And Molly" and "Rules Of Engagement" to fill the holes that "Two and a Half Men" will leave because actor Charlie Sheen is currently seeking treatment.

TMZ reports that Sheen will be away for three months, but CBS is not confirming this at the moment, but if true, his show would be eight episodes short of the planned 24-episode season.

CBS says that a possible longer shutdown of "Two and a Half Men" would "not be material" to the network, as "any ratings declines will be more than offset by the reduced programming costs for episodes lost this season."

CBS touted its schedule which is "strong and deep with hit series", and would not suffer much from the absence of one show. Plus, "Men" has a great history in its performance in repeats.
