Deadline's Nellie Andreeva reports today that NBC's upcoming half-hour multi-camera comedy "Whitney" has gotten itself a new mother.
Whitney Cummings stars in the show as Whitney, who forms a happily unmarried couple with Alex (Chris D'Elia). Kaczmarek replaces Beverly d'Angelo in the role of Whitney's outspoken mother, a woman who has been married several times.
"Whitney" premiers on Thursday, September 22, behind "The Office".
