Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson Among THE WALKING DEAD; Sharon Leal, Russell Hornsby Need The SUITS
Hello Folks
Per TVLine's Michael Ausiello and the Hollywood Reporter, there are a few cast additions to two cable shows to report.
- Lauren Cohan ("Supernatural", "The Vampire Diaries", "Chuck") and Scott Wilson ("CSI") have both joined the cast of the upcoming second season of AMC's "The Walking Dead". The story of the sophomore year will largely be set at at a farm owned by Hershel Greene (Wilson). Cohan will play Hershel's daughter Maggie, a self-reliant woman and love interest for Glenn (Steven Yuen). Pruitt Taylor Vince has previously been cast as the farm's foreman.
"The Walking Dead" is expected to return in the fall for 13 new episodes.
- Sharon Leal ("Hellcats") and Russell Hornsby ("Lincoln Heights", upcoming "Grimm") have both grabbed guest spots in USA's freshman law drama "Suits". In episode 4 Leal will play a consultant for a company that's being sued for falsifying FDA drug trial results. Her relationship with the company's CEO doesn't really help to forge a valid defense, either.
Hornsby appears in the same episode as Quentin Sainz, a man from Jessica's (Gina Torres) past. He faces a lawsuit because his company's breakthrough drug for ALS patients may have unexpected deadly side effects, and now the drug faces removal from the market. Jessica gives him Harvey (Gabriel Macht) as his attorney, a man who isn't very fond of Quentin.
Titus Welliver has been previously announced to be guest starring on "Suits". He will play Dominic Barrone, an automotive engineer. His engine is the reason McKernon Motors is successful. When a crisis threatens the future of the company, he needs Harvey's help, even though Dominic doesn't really trust him.
