Yesterday was the last day of this year's TCA summer press tour, where cable stations like Starz and HBO held their panels.
There's not too much to report about them, but one thing sure is.
HBO has announced that "Entourage" will come to an end next year, and the last season will be an abbreviated one. But there might be more "Entourage" down the road, and on a much bigger screen.
"The plan right now is to finish up this season and we're not clear exactly how many [episodes], we'll do a shorter order next season to finish up. We had talked about six," HBO Co-President of Programing, Richard Plepler said. "[Creator Doug Ellin] clearly wants to write [an 'Entourage' film] but he also wants to do it so the storytelling makes sense. Clearly he's thinking about how the show will end, he's already pitched other shows to us, we're in a long-term relationship with Doug Ellin. I would expect that in the next couple years you'll see him up here with another show."
