The Hollywood Reporter reports that CBS has handed out its first pickup for fall.
Multi-camera romantic comedy "Mike and Molly", from Chuck Lorre ("The Big Bang Theory", "Two And A Half Men"), centers on Mike (Billy Gardell), an overweight, charming police officer, and Molly (Melissa McCarthy) a voluptuous and pretty woman. They met at an Overeaters Anonymous, where the "romantic comedy" part kicks in.
