Per the Hollywood Reporter, Chad Lowe has replaced Alexis Denisof in ABC Family's upcoming summer drama "Pretty Little Liars". Lowe will take over as the father of Aria (Lucy Hale), one of four girls getting mysterious messages from a former girlfriend who has disappeared three years ago.
Additionally, Gina Torres ("Firefly") has been added to the cast of "Huge", the new ABC Family comedy set at a weight-loss camp. Torres will play Dr. Dorothy Rand on the show.
And EW's Michael Ausiello reports that Seth Gabel ("Dirty Sexy Money") has joined the cast of FOX' recently renewed drama "Fringe". He will play the lead Fringe investigator in the alternate universe. he is set to appear in the two-part finale, with the option of recurring next season.
