And here are some small tidbits from the general news front.
First, from the The Hollywood Reporter:
- A&E has ordered a second season of its reality series "Steven Seagal: Lawman". The show which follows veteran actor and martial arts expert Seagal during his work for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office to protect and serve the people of New Orleans.
The second season will have 16 episodes, three more than the first. Scenes for the new season have been filmed during Mardi Gras.
- Allison Janney ("The West Wing") will guest star on USA's third season of "In Plain Sight". For two episodes, Janney plays a newly-appointed US Marshal for the district who is at odds with Mary (Mary McCormack). Steven Weber, Josh Cooke, Tess Harper and Rita Moreno have also landed guest spots on the show's next season.
- Harold Perrineau ("Lost") will guest star in an upcoming episode of "CSI:NY". According to EW's Michael Ausiello, he will play a death row inmate fighting for his life during a prison riot. But that's not the only twist in this episode. For more, follow the link above.
