Hello Folks!
CBS is doing it again… and again… and again.
After launching two successful spinoffs to "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" over the last few years, and currently testing the waters with a second "NCIS" series, CBS is now mulling over a potential spinoff to "Criminal Minds", the Hollywood Reporter reports.
The spinoff will launch as an episode of the original show in the spring. None of the original cast members are set to transfer, the new show would feature a new team of FBI agents.
Chris Mundy, exec producer on "Criminal Minds", is writing the spinoff, from a story by him and Edward Allen Bernero, creator of the original format. Both are set as exec producers on the spinoff.
What do you think? Do we really need another spinoff of a successful CBS procedural? Or could this one become the best of the bunch?

Chopping Block Part 1: The CW Cancels THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE
Hello Folks!
Well, we officially have it: Fall's first casualty.
After really abysmal ratings, The CW has officially canceled its freshman fashion drama "The Beautiful Life" after just two episodes. Six episodes are shot, production was shut down on the seventh.
Beginning next week, the network will air a repeat of "Melrose Place" in that timeslot.
Well, this adds more fuel to the folks that hate The CW now even more for not picking up "Body Politic", right?
Can we please give the slot to "Life UneXpected", and start this show now instead of midseason?

Hello Folks!
Two casting exits have rattled the TV world in the last hours.
Jennifer Morrison, who plays Dr. Allison Cameron on FOX' "House", will leave the show as a regular during the ongoing season, EW's Michael Ausiello was first to report. Also gone sometime next season will be Eric Bogosian, who plays Captain Danny Ross on the show.
Jeff Goldblum will take over as top detective of the squad.
This adds another three actors to the list of "Criminal Intent" departures, as it was reported last week that Julianne Nicholson would not return, and that Saffron Burrows would replace her.
The report also mentions the possibility of D'Onofrio returning in guest stints.
