Hello Folks!
Not much happening at the moment, looks like everyone is slowly getting into the holiday spirit.
To keep this blog alive, here's the latest from the pilot front, from the Hollywood Reporter:
- Emmy Rossum, Allison Janney and Justin Chatwin have joined William H. Macy in the Showtime pilot "Shameless". Rossum plays the lead in the story about the working-class Gallagher clan who has to deal with recession, with no mother around, and the patriarch (Macy) constantly passing out drunk, it's up to 18-year old daughter Fiona (Rossum) to loo after her five siblings.
Janney plays an important character and love interest for Macy, with Chatwin playing Steve, a car thief falling for Fiona. Mark Mylod will direct the pilot.
- Gerald McRaney ("Jericho") has come aboard the J.J. Abrams NBC pilot "Undercovers". It's a mix between "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "The Bourne Identity", and centers on Samantha and Steven Bloom, two married spies working together.
McRaney will play their boss, a CIA operative who recruited Samantha and Steven, and is now their liaison with the agency. Abrams is considering directing the pilot.
