Per TV Guide's Matt Mitovich, Idina Menzel, wife of "Private Practice" star Taye Diggs, will guest star on her husband's drama for multiple episodes.
She'll play the mother of a patient of Pete's.
It's unclear yet if Menzel will share many scenes with her husband during her guest stint.
