Several sources reported late yesterday that Brittany Snow was in negotiations to star as the young Lily in The CW's upcoming "Gossip Girl" spinoff.
E!Online's Kristin Dos Santos reports now that Krysten Ritter, the actress already cast as Lily's older sister Carol Rhodes, confirmed that Snow is indeed cast in the lead role to the spinoff that which launch with a special "Gossip Girl" backdoor pilot episode on May 11.
""They just cast Brittany Snow. It's definitely official, and I think I'm the first one to know that. It wasn't official earlier, I saw on the Internet, but now it is official," Ritter was quoted on the subject.
